Shant Harootunian is managing director of evaluated services for Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data. Mr Harootunian is responsible for the business strategy, operations and the development of new offerings for Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data’s evaluated services business. He joined the business in September 2007 and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Interactive Data, Mr Harootunian was executive vice president at Mergent, Inc., where he had overall responsibility for their fixed income business. Before joining Mergent, Mr Harootunian was president of Bond Express Inc. and was responsible for managing BARRA’s online bond trading subsidiary. He has also held numerous senior positions at Reuters America Inc. and Dean Witter Intercapital.
Mr Harootunian holds an MBA in finance/investment analysis from Pace University and a BA in economics from the University of Virginia.
