Peter Gardett

Peter Gardett is Managing Partner for Karbone Research, working with clients and counterparties across trading, hedging and strategic opportunities in energy transition. His team guides strategy for leading Karbone trading desks in power, capacity and environmental attributes. In his previous role as executive director for S&P Global Commodity Insights he led a dedicated research team that provided integrated energy and commodities markets advisory research to the financial sector. Peter has more than 20 years of experience as a journalist, analyst, entrepreneur, and executive. Peter holds a degree from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and lives in New York City.
