Erica Doray Seremeta, CIMA®, is the Managing Director and Head of Inclusion & Culture Client Engagement at BlackRock. She is responsible for developing and implementing BlackRock’s HR client engagement strategy, ensuring that the company meets the needs of interested clients across BlackRock’s Institutional and Wealth businesses. She also initiatives such as inclusive sourcing, diverse broker & manager initiatives as well as employee network governance. She serves as team’s CAO to drive strategy and business efficiencies while also operating as the executive sponsor of the Human Resources Development program (HRDP).
Prior to her current role, Ms. Seremeta was a Relationship Manager within the Aladdin Product Group’s Client and Sales Solutions team, where she drove the global unification strategy and adoption of client enablement technology in partnership with the Client Experience Platform for BlackRock’s Institutional Client Business.
Ms. Seremeta has been with the firm since 1998, including her years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. While there, she held several leadership roles hiring and training sales professionals in addition to building out sales and service operations. Ms. Seremeta began her career in Defined Assets Funds at Merrill Lynch as a Hybrid Market Leader.
Ms. Seremeta holds a BBA in Finance and an MBA in Finance from Rider University, as well as a CIMA certification, FINRA Series 24, and a HR credential from Cornell University. She is an active board member of the Investment Company Institute sub-committee and serves on the Advisory Council of NICSA’s Diversity Project of North America. Ms. Seremeta has been a keynote featured speaker and panelist at numerous external events.
