Amanda Weinberg

Amanda Weinberg is a Chief Product Owner for Markets Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.  She leads the Product Strategy & Support Function which drives the strategy and delivery of high-quality technical services to the Markets Group. Previously, Amanda worked in Business Technology for the Markets Group supporting monetary policy operations, portfolio and market analysis, and Discount Window product delivery. Under her leadership, the team implemented SOFR, the pandemic crisis facilities, the Standing Repo Facilities, and the MarketSource research portal.  In addition to her primary responsibilities, she also led the Bank’s Cyber Risk Assessment project in 2018.

Prior to joining the Bank, Amanda spent more than 20 years in global rates, credit, and FX sales and trading at large broker dealers specializing in electronic trading and leading large-scale technology transformation. Amanda has a Master’s degree from New York University and Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Economics from Hunter College at the City University of New York.
