Edward Pinto

Edward PintoEdward J. Pinto is an American Enterprise Institute (AEI) senior fellow and director of AEIs Housing Center. The Center monitors the US markets and evaluates policy issues using a unique set of Housing Market Indicators. He is currently researching policies to increase the supply of market rate housing through the adoption of light touch density and a focus on walkable oriented development. Active in housing finance for over 40 years, he was an executive vice president and chief credit officer for Fannie Mae until the late 1980s.
