Chaim Fortgang is founder and senior managing director of Fortgang Consulting LLC. For more than 30 years, he has represented institutional lenders and value investors in high-profile troubled debt situations, in addition to having represented a number of international clients in significant cross-border restructuring transactions. He was most recently a senior partner in charge of the corporate restructuring/creditors rights practice at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and an adjunct professor of law at the New York University School of Law, as well as the former partner/managing director at Fortress Investment Group. He has written many articles and is a frequent lecturer, author, and participant in seminars and education programs.
