A Public Credit Research Analyst and Head of Utilities Research, Senior Vice President at AllianceBernstein. He primarily covers investment-grade US and European utilities and high-yield power companies. Before joining the public group, Socha was a credit analyst with the Private Placement and Bank Loan Group, where he was responsible for covering the utilities, power, oil and gas, and energy sectors. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, he was a credit analyst at Delaware Investments, where he covered the utilities and energy industries for fixed-income private placement and bank loan securities.
Socha also formerly held a financial research position at GE Capital Services, where he analyzed equity, debt and structured investments within the global energy sector. He began his career at a division of Deutsche Bank, where he worked in both the equity research and investment banking divisions. Socha holds a BS in political science from Trinity College and an MBA with a concentration in finance and management from New York University. Location: New York
