Susanna Gibbons is the Managing Director of the Funds Enterprise at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She has been in the investment business since 1985 as an analyst, portfolio manager, asset allocator, and educator for fixed income, equity and alternative strategies. She is currently exploring the intersection of Portfolio Management, ESG Integration, and DEI efforts. Susanna has served on the Investment Advisory Council of the Minnesota State Board of Investment, the Investment Committee of the Girls Scouts River Valleys, and is a Fellow with the Institute on the Environment. She is the co-author of two recent articles related to ESG investing: Quantifying the impact of green bonds: using life-cycle assessment to measure comprehensive financial and environmental return on investment in the Journal of Sustainable Finance & Investment, and Proposing An Innovative Bond to Increase Investments in the Social Drivers of Health Interventions in Medicaid Managed Care, in Health Affairs.
Susanna received a BA in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College, and an MBA in Finance from New York Universitys Stern School of Business.
