Amy Levine spearheads Shenkmans initiatives to incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance factors into the investment process and was instrumental in formulating the Firms first ESG Policy in 2017. She has 27 years of high yield experience including roles as a credit analyst and as co-head of the research team. Ms. Levine is a principal of the Firm and currently serves as a member of the Firms Risk, 401(k), DEI, and ESG Committees.
Prior to joining Shenkman Capital in 2002, Ms. Levine spent four years at Smith Barney as Director of High Yield Investments. From 1995 through 1998 Ms. Levine was an Associate Director at SBC Warburg, first in Credit Risk Management and then in the High Yield Research department.
Ms. Levine co-authored the chapter “Credit Analysis and Analyzing a High-Yield Issuance” in the book: Leveraged Financial Markets by Mark Shenkman and William Maxwell. She received a BA degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
